The Lake Chelan Lions Club is excited to celebrate our 2025 scholarship recipients! First, a massive thank you to our dedicated Scholarship Committee: Keith Carpenter, John Page, and Eric Page – their efforts were essential in making these awards happen.

This year on June 3, 2025, we're proud to award four $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Lake Chelan Valley high schools heading into vocational, career, or technical programs! A huge congratulations to our Chelan seniors: Brenda Urincho, Briceida Lizeth Lopez Par, and Eduardo Molina Martinez! We wish you all the best in your post-high school studies! 

Career and Technical Education Scholarship Application

Required Documents:

1. Completed Application (Pages 1, 2 & 3)

2. Copy Of Most Recent High School Transcript

3. A Personal Letter Or Statement Which Includes:

        a. A brief family background 

        b. Why you wish to further your education

        c. Career goals or plans

4. A list of the following: (list on page 3 or provide a separate activity list)

        a. Activities (sports, clubs, church, etc.) 

        b. Awards or Recognitions (in or out of school) 

        c. Community Involvement or Service (volunteer) 

        d. Employment (brief list of places you work either year-round or summer months)

5. Two (2) letters of recommendation 

         a. Letters can be from a teacher, former employer, pastor, coach or local business person (not relatives)

         b. This letter must include:

         c. Date 

         d. In what capacity the person knows you and for how long. 

         e. Signature of the writer and contact information.
